FRINGE BENEFITS!!!

Kim Tank in earrings by Top Shop and bikini by xhilaration

It blows with the wind in any direction. It’s fun. It adds life. It’s what stands out. It’s underrated. It’s the gypsy of style.

If you’re looking for a fun way to welcome the summer and add some fluidity and spice to your outfit, add a little fringe!

I recently fell back in love with fringe after seeing it on a pair of heels on the streets of New York.

That’s correct, it’s not only for tops. It can be added to skirts, vests, bracelets, swimwear and the versatility does not stop there. Fringe has been reinvented throughout many cultures and eras. From Native Americans to cowboys, and flappers to hippies, fringe may not ever go out of style as long as you know how to work it.  The possibilities are endless and that is the mind of a gypsy.

And don’t be intimidated! Once you put on fringe, you will be and feel like the most fun and confident person in the room, at the park, or on your next trip!

ASTORIA HOTTIES

New York! Astoria! Wow!

Full of hot greek men, lovely food, in the heart of New York is the new jem and 'it place' to hang out at. No 'cast aways' (as we call the greasy hair-unwashed clothes hipsters you get in Williamsburg) and  much more hygienic bathrooms in bars it becomes apparent - Astoria is in its own lane.
Our nights are always fun in Astoria, always scandalous, always memorable. If you come to New York, don't waste your time in Midtown, take the train Uptown and head straight to Astoria!

Start off your night with some mouthwatering Greek food at Ovelia, great service and turns into a bar at night. Then go for cocktails at Flo, you will love the decor and classiness of this place and if you want to turn things up, go to Caprice and party till late. Great bartender Nikos will take good care of you!

Then go smoke some Shisha along Steinway and have some persian tea and you will feel like you went to an alternate universe without leaving New York.

MIDTOWN WEST, NYC

Midtown West is a separate entity from Times Square. Head towards the Hudson and get something a little bit quieter and a lot more local. Here you can find restaurants all along 9th Ave where there's everything from southern flare (yes, I said flare..not just fare!) at Southern Hospitality to French-Thai fusion at Breeze, to authentic Brazilian at Rice and Beans , or opt for a wittily named slice of pizza at Two Boots. Then stroll even further to view the beautiful brownstones and hang out in the hidden parks. You'd like it here gypsies.

In the area of Midtown West also called Clinton
Also known as Hell's Kitchen

There are plenty of taxis around!

NEW YORK, NEW YORK!!!!

Every day I'm simply amazed by the abundance of aesthetics that resides on this tiny island. There's never a dull moment, or slice of pizza. NYC is a great home base for gypsying around the world, either by taking the subway to explore its culturally-distinct neighborhoods, or actually taking the air via two choices of international airports - JFK and Newark (yeah, we'll include Jersey.) Typical leisure in the city that never sleeps:
NY Giants parade, when we were champs
New York pizza, yum

Happy Hour
Octopus...gotta try new tastes, aye?
